People who vibrate in unison deeply move me. When humans come together, their souls connect, they shine bright and magic happens.

1. Bio

Traveller, dreamer and founder of The Wellnest, the all-female Belgian community, currently bringing together over 20,000 women. Her entrepreneurial experience stems from the desire to build an ideal society, in which women are accomplices and support each other in achieving their dreams. She attributes much of the credit for this project to her ADHD. She has no problem testifying to her dual personality: passionate, impulsive, fearless, creative, capable of making unimaginable things happen – on the one hand. On the other hand, anxious, frequently burnt out, with poor time self-management and organisational skills.

2. The power of a dream

I have occasionally dreamed of being a choreographer or composing music for a film, but – in truth – my greatest ‘buried’ dream was somewhat more naive: I liked to imagine ideal societies. I then got caught up living in the real world, looking for my place, my balance. It was during this period spent seeking answers that, at a certain point, a question popped back into my head: “But why can’t all women be friends?” And there it was, my great utopia of an ideal society, knocking once more. I believe that the power of a dream is also there to help us get back in touch with our most intimate self and from there, unleash a force capable of pushing us hard on the good days and acting as a safety raft on the more difficult ones.

3. My journey into real beauty

It undoubtedly began with the discovery of all things female. As a girl, for a long period, I had no female friends, and it was almost a source of pride. I then started travelling and met some extraordinary women, who made me feel and then understand the power of feminine energy. It was like coming home, it was the motivating force that taught me to ‘do for others’ and abandon the sterile juxtaposition. I am perpetually moved by the beauty of people who vibrate in unison. They can be people united in the name of civil rights, or a crowd immersed in the joy of a concert, the feeling is the same. When humans come together, their souls connect, they shine bright and magic happens. This is true beauty.

4. What I learned and won’t let go

It may seem trivial, but no-one ever talks about money, especially women. We must commit to making curiosity, even about money, a women’s affair. It is a tool with which we must deal in order to make our way. I want women to finally be able to decide on their own terms and embrace the right to have ambitious dreams, in any field, be it professional or domestic. Money, opportunity and ambition are also women’s things. Possibly with that level of care, sisterhood and ability to welcome that makes us so special.
