Florbela Espanca was a Portuguese poet. She is known for her passionate and feminist poetry. Her life, which lasted only thirty-six years, was tumultuous, restless and full of intimate suffering that the author has been able to transform into high quality poetry, full of femininity and pantheism. After her death several of her works were published, including the Juvenilia and a library was named in her honor.
