Else is a prescription glasses style crafted entirely from metal. The front piece sports a squared shape and is embellished with two coloured acetate glued elements. An elegant and dainty engraving of the brand’s monogram features along the length of the temples and is also replicated on the temple tips.

Else Lasker-Schüler was a German-Jewish poet and playwright, famous for her bohemian lifestyle in Berlin and her poetry. She was one of the few women affiliated with the Expressionist movement. Lasker-Schüler fled Nazi Germany and lived out the rest of her life in Jerusalem. Later, the German composers Margarete Schweikert and Luise Schulze-Berghof set Lasker-Schuler’s poems to music.
